Subject:  Re: Supporting the local hobby shop?List thread.

Here Here! I agree! I am tired of people telling me I have to support the
local hobby shop and feed his kids! If I can find it cheaper elsewhere then
I do! I have nothing against Mom and Pop operations but it is not my
responsibility to pay their rent and overhead. If they can't stay in
business due to competition then they like all businesses will fold. In
today's world there is no reason to be charged more and more for less and
less. I find I can buy some items in Hong Kong and pay high shipping and
still beat prices here. I go where I have more bang for my buck. Sorry Hobby
Shop Owners but the free market is just that! Free! It is the reality of
Capitalism that some Businesses survive and others fold, just a fact of
life. That said I also find that the Hobby Shop of old is as extinct as the
Dinosaurs anyway. Lack of selection and over priced! Sorry My money goes
where it does me the best not others!
Sorry if this seems like ranting?
Cheers
Jeff Larkin
