I regularly buy KIT MIlitär Modell Journal as it is the best one in german language that covers only military vehicles etc. (no planes and ships). If you really want to learn some german, than this is the one. there's another publication which is a complete reproduction of the Steelmasters (same title) serie and hors series in german which is also quite good, but I don't know f they are published in english too and much earlier.
