The reason I had to replace the NNTP server was that I had upgraded my server machine last month and had to also upgrade my DNews NNTP server software. I paid for a licence years ago but they wanted me to pay for an upgrade. I didn't want pay so I decided to move the document base into an SQL database server and create an application to maintain the threaded lists. This application I will extend to listen to port 119 so you'll be able to use a news reader again.
