Paul hit the nail on the head. The poll is for a required Stats class in my engineering program so it's not exactly a high priority class for me, and anything I can do to make it more interesting I'll do. This topic is easy to do, the results come to me, and I think it will be interesting to put some numbers on something like this. It beats weighing bags of peanuts, or measuring the rise on all the stairs in a building and comparing them to plans.
Christophe, I build almost the same as you, all countries WWII. If it catches my eye, I'll build it. I think thats the way most of us really are. So far it's about 1/3 each Modern, Allied, German, and a few "all subjects", and a few "other". If I thought there was the slightest possibility I could talk a manufacturer out of their sale figures, I would. I include WWI in the "other" category by the way, and I posted this poll in the WWI DG over in ML, that covers all subjects from WWI and the twenties, I then picked up the other categories from 1933-1945, and then modern from 1945 on. It's not perfect I know, but I have to explain this to the two girls I am doing this project with and the female course instructor. Try explaining the different subjects to a female non-modeller and you'll see what I mean.
To disprove my hypothesis I only need two categories: German 1939-1945 and "other than". but I expanded my categories just so that the results would have some "anectdotal interest" to all of us when I post the results.
Best Regards
