Hello,
I bought an Elite Flakpanzer 38(t) resin kit a few months ago from Ebay. According to the review on TL, the kit is supposed to come with resin, white metal, some Tamiya plastic parts and a turned aluminium barrel from Jordi Rubio.
The Elite kit I got from the Ebay vendor is entirely resin. There is not a "multimedia" part in sight, the barrels and white metal parts all came in resin. In addition to that, all the parts are full of air bubbles and some are cracked. Also, many parts came wrapped in paper napkin.
OKAY... Did I feel stupid. But I was really busy (summer tech internship + college) and I had no time to pursue this matter. Now thinking back, is it possible for some vendors to replicate an entire resin kit and sell illegal copies online?
I mean, what is the cost to make the molds and stuff???
