| Subject: | Through Hell For Hitler - BBC documentary | |

| Down here in Australia we've just had screened a very good BBC documentary, "Through Hell For Hitler", based on the book of the same name by Henry Metelman, who was a tank driver in the 22nd Panzer Division just before Stalingrad. Told in his own words by Henry, it also featured some very good dramatisations of his battle experiences. It featured a particularly convincing Panzer IVH, based on what looks like a T34 hull. Very realistic looking, the suspension is not really noticeable behind the schurzen. I know its the wrong time era for the Panzer IVH but it looked very good. Well worth seeing if you find it on DVD or video. |
