I nagree whole hertly with you Christophe.
I have spent the last year debating with our club's board to convince them
to change our contest rules to a spin off from the rules aplied by the AMPS.
Much more user friendly, so the contest will be much more fun for everybody.
I am calling our system a "spin off" because we simplified the classes a
lot, bring the classes back to only for: Vehicles, all scales, Diorama's all
scales, Figures all scales, and youthscale, all classes mentioned before.
One (hidden) rule will be that every kid under the age of 12 will
automatically get at least a bronze, to encourage them to keep on building
and developping themselves.
These kids will be the James Blackwells, Mirko Bayerl's and Tony Greenlands
of the future!
