Hey,
Thanks for all the kind words from you guys. I guess it is a rookie mistake to set a big goal like that for myself and be unable to handle the magnitude of it. Well, I am trying to save money by not getting the PE sets. I do not have an Etch Mate / Hold and Fold. I feel that is is not necessary to use PE sets in order to get the best result. But GOLLY! I never realised that there are that MANY things wrong with the Tamiya kit. And one thing led to another...
Peter: BTW, San Antionio Hobby Store just got hired a new guy. He really knows his stuff and is an armor fan. Great guy, and he is willing to order the latest and the greatest. Trying to re-build the customer base. The atmosphere is much friendlier now. Definitely worth a visit!
