Hi, James,

If you look at the pics of that Alan kit carefully, you would see lots of potential problems. The breakdown of the lower hull is unreasonable, and potential problems are quite apparent, don't even need dry-fitting to tell.

Only that when I start building the kit, more and more issues emerged. Just like you said, have they tried building the kit before release it? And how they come up with a parts breadown that is so dumb in the first place.

Now you start the DML Pz1b. It looks beautiful "in the box". But mind you, the upper hull assembly is quite tricky. DML is trying some new ideas here. Good ideas to start with, but I don't think they work.

So a construction would be good. But who will write one? I want to. But I can't as I have already shelved both. I would continue the Pz1b after Lionroar releases their extensive PE set. (the set includes a whole rear upper hull. What does that tell ya?) And I have not yet figure out what to do about the Bison 1. May be scratch build the upper hull on a DML chassis and then stick the Sig33 onto it is a better idea.

So I will not be able to do a "construction review" for either of them. If some articles coming out from me, it would be something like "how to build a xxx using xxx as a base kit"

Cheers

Leo
