Subject:  In the end just an opinion anywayList thread.

I submit in box and building reviews. I think I do a good job (or hope I do). Still, in the end, even a building review is an opinion. Cases in point - I built the AFV Club 251 halftrack and had no fit problems with the hull. I have heard other people have had large gaps that required cutting, plastic, etc. OK I didn't mention those problems becasue I didn't have them. If you built the kit you might have the same problem... but it isn't the kit or the review... it is the builder. By the same token a friend of mine and I both looked at a RPM Mirage Renault UE in the box, both took one home to build, and both had totally different experiences. I liked the kit and was able to build it in a weekend and the otehr guy swore it would never ever fit properly and threw it away!

I think any review is just to provide some sort of reference for someone that has not seen the kit... i.e... parts count, any noticable areas of concern, etc. I don't think a review really ever stopped anyone from buying a kit.
