Hi Rob;
A piece of advice with regards to digi pics. If you've tried already nevermind but if it helps then bonus. Take the pictures outside. Not in the direct sunlight but in the shade. This will eliminate shadows and diffuse the light nicely. This will help your camera take a better shot as the light will help it pixellate better. There are a few settings that will help as well. There is a small flower symbol on most makes of Digi cam ( I use Canon ) that means you are in macro focus mode. this will help taking close up shots immensely. then make sure your F-stop is maxed out as this is what I make out to be the digital equivalent of Aperture. Take as many shots as possible experimenting with different settings and write down what picture has what settings.Then you will see what settings suit you best. Geoff Coughlin taught me that trick and while it is a pain in the ass as first it pays off mega in the long run!
I hope this helps,
Jay |
