What is with all the negativity towards indy track links? A lot of Armour modelers whined for better tracks or indy tracks in kits for years, and now that we have them, people are complaining.

I use this Hobby as a form of escape and relaxation, I am not trying to win a speed race. I am one of those that originally wished for manufacturers to include indy injection track links in their kits, and DML came through in a big way. I love'm. I say bring on more. I will, out of habit replace any and all excellent one piece vinyl/soft plastic kit tracks on the spot. I will go to almost any lengths to upgrade a kit in the hopes that the final product will be an exact replica of what I originally imagined in my minds eye before starting that project. I feel the number one discerning feature of a "Tank", is it's tracks and running gear. I will go to any lengths to upgrade a kit's suspension system if I can. Sure, cleaning up track links and road wheels may be a necessary evil, but when you take the time and really pull it off, man it looks good! Mind you, I only manage to get a couple kits completed a year, but hey, it's a hobby, right? Now back to the subject at hand. I don't like that word hate, but I can relate to "annoying", and that would be when my airbrush decides to act up and ruin my latest creation. I have gotten real good at sripping paint and re-spraying kits, and now, I am in the process of shopping for a new Airbrush.

Keep on Modeling.

Ross.
