I wish you lot would stop bitching and start putting your money where your mouth is. You want more allied then buy more allied. Don't buy just 1 kit but 5 of each and every type so that manufacturers will make the erroneous assumption that there is a demand for allied topics in a commercial context.
God knows what this will do to the hobby as the main aim of the bitching seems to be pointed directly at only one manufacturer (why I can't say) in some sort of expectation that DML should cater to a minority view point.
Bottom line is if you want change then you are going to have to pay for it because bitch’ns not gonna get ya squat.
Personally I suspect that the only thing that will come out of this is manufacturers will mistakenly believe the bleating and lose money on the hobby and pull out.
Any of you do a comprehensive investigation on topic coverage? Stating with the out-poring of 1/35th kits in the 70s through to the present? I’m almost positive that you haven’t looked any deeper than the last few 18 months or so. It wouldn’t be that hard as all you need is each years catalogs to get a list of released products. Compile the results into two piles of allied/modern vs axis (that’s WW2 Japanese and Italian as well as German).

steve (its all good in the end I hope)
