FAO Schwartz was its own worst enemy, what else can you say about a company that's primary advertising push came from the movie BIG all those years ago? They sold Star Wars figures for $9 whereas the same figure at a Target/Wal-Mart/Toys R Us went for under $3. Wouldn't be bad if they had the new and hard to find items, but they had more peg warmers than the other three combined. They're reopening their NYC operation near 57th street, let's see if they learned a lesson or two.

I'm surprised Great Models is still around and wouldn't be surprised if they soon go under because of their own incompetence. I've been waiting for a refund for eight months now despite emails it was on the way. Thye've slipped up way too many times IMHO. hometown-hobbies/black knight figures are a stellar operation that's underrated for some reason, and they accept Paypal.
