First let me say that after reading much of this thread, I still prefer to build WWII German Armor, exclusively. I won't get into "whose tanks were REALLY better", I doubt that a manufacturer ever declined to produce a subject simply because its gun wasn't the biggest.
Now for the real reason i decided to post. We're all modellers here right? A lot of the joy we take from this hobby is actually building our subjects right? And when a manufacturer doesn't produce the exact version we're looking for, we don't hesitate to kit-bash or scratch-build do we? So if no one is producing that kit we dream of having, why not take that leap and modify existing kits? Or, I can't believe I'm making this suggestion, why not make it ourselves? If so many people are interested, farm out the work! And apparently there would be a large market for the finished product, right? I think it's time to put the tissues down, and pick up the tools! Don't wait for some company to come blow your nose for you, show some initiative!

Bob
