You may also want to consider:
The Marchall Museum in Zwijndrecht ( drop the ladies in Dordrecht, which is just across the bridge, they will like it ;)
note... just read that that one is closed till februari 15th .. sorry.. but keep it in mind for next time perhaps.

or, the Mariniers Museum in Rotterdam, which may not have that much armor, but is a museum dedicated to the oldest military force that still exists today in the world. They have a history of more than 400 years of battle and peacekeeping.
I agree with both Overloon and Delft as 'Must See's' whenever you get the chance. I have been to both. ( in fact, I was in the Army Museum in Delft last saturday !!! ), and.. till December 24th, you have free admittance there ;)
