Hi Paul,

I have three picks:

Allied Subject: DML T-34/76 1941 - a nearly perfect T-34 kit after so many years of the old Tamiya stuff. I like this version best because of the etched screen (runner up being the 1940 version).

Axis Subject: DML Panzer I Ausf.B DAK - neat little panzer with good details and bonus etched parts + figures (including a doggie and lizard). Absolutely beautiful little kit at a good price.

Modern Subject: Tamiya Challenger 2 Desertised - I just love the details Tamiya has on this kit. A little pricey but it is of a subject I just cannot resist!

BEST kit of the year? I pick the DML Panzer I Ausf.B DAK because of the price, details and extra stuff that comes with it. The price is a major factor in my decision.
