Hello,
For those with Amazon.com accounts, there is a link on Amazon's main page for donations. All proceeds go directly to the Red Cross. That was how I made my little contribution to those affected by this tragedy.
I think there are other avenues for donating money and help.
Regarding why no one posted anything regarding the Earthquake/Tsunami disaster, just go look at the ruckus the topic caused on the other "hypenated-Lynx" site. I guess most people are afraid to post, they do not want to get singled out by trolls and accused of "deviating off topic" or "spamming".
