Thanks for the compliment -- it has a few problems that I know about now, but it was the best I could do at the time. Not many of us (certainly not me) knew there were horizontal arm AND raised arm bogies, for instance.

I got a set of plans in the mid-80s out of an ad in Military Modelling, but discovered a few dimensional problems when I started to build the flail. I put it away for a few years until someone gave me some pics of the Crab at Bovington and some official stowage diagrams. That's what it took to get me motivated again as it finally answered the questions the scale plans created. I finished this in the mid-90s when I barely knew what the internet was, much less had access to it. So many more resources now ... so little time!
