im thankfull i do armour and not aircraft..

i have a Tamiya sturmtiger in the cupboard with the following aftermarket sets..
eduard exterior set
eduard interior set
royal models interior
tamiya tiger engine kit
turned ammo x 2 with fuses ( bought by mistake.. fuses ought not be in there )
turned ammo x 2 without fuses
latex zimmerit
aj press bilingual refernce book..

and am still to get tracks ?

i havent added it all up , but roughly its about 200 $ au. (140US).
thats prolly the worst offending armour kit i have and wont go to that extreme again!!!

usually i find that scratchbuilding fixes most problem i have. and most likely an eduard pe set. would buy more if i didnt have to mail order the sets all the time and wait aaaages for them to arrive.

i did buy an aircraft.,. an f14a+ wow spent almost twice as much again on all the bits , kit included.. but that almost begged for the upgrades.. cockpit, decals, ammo, wheel bays, cans, reference, wheels, etc etc

i think with armour we dont have to go to far.. and i figure as a guide that if the costly additions are immeadiately noticeable , then they arent worth it !

my 2 cents

adam
