I got bitten by all the hype over AFV's Sd.Kfz.11 (I resisted the Tamiya Marder III and Schwerer Zugkraftwagen 18t "FAMO" und Tiefladeanhänger für Pz.Kpfw.Sd.Ah.116 or Famo with Trailer, but only just), this little halftrack got the better of me and I got 3 with indi tracks for 2 of them. Since then I’ve ended up with railway guns, halftracks and Karls plus a plethora of other latest release bells and whistles kits. I’m not done yet either as the proposed Trumpeter 1/35th steam engine (2 of these big puppies coupled together with a Karl and a K5 along with my scratched built, 6 axle flatbed railwagon, with a DML initial Tiger, on it’s way the Eastern Front is bordering on the sublime) will be on my list along with a few of the Tristar Pkw IV/D.
I don’t know if there is a point that I can stop and while I keep getting this feeling that the hobby is on the brink of a great down turn I must gather what I can, while I can.
