Our hobby will always be driven by economics, which is why you will always see the major player bring out similar products.When I began modeling I built Rusian and American subjects, but after a ten year sabbatical I currently build German subjects, why because there is more choice.
However I fully agree that the majors should take a "risk" and produce more allied equipment.
As a matter of interest Maquette are producing a Mk1 Archer, Daimler Dingo and an Mk1 AEC Armoured car.If these kits are taken up it may supply the impetous to companies to produce more "customer" driven products,we can but hope.
