It is OK for me. I usually use a laptop set to 1000 x 1400 pix res.
The load of the page is OK, at my home-network 108 MBit wireless and about 2 MB ADSL from about 10 m.

I wish you had a button on the page where it is easy to scroll between the images reather than go back and forth.....
