It is funny how you always mention a Staghound :)
Paul, there is little sense in explaining or even mentioning the feelings on duplicate kits. You know I agree with you. It seems when discussing these issues, you get branded a whiner, complainer or worse, accused of pet project manipulation... LOL
It is now in plain site what DML intentions are? Colusion would best benefit all but will never happen, just like Communism as written, sounds like a good idea, greed will always take over... hehehe
I do remember being happy when Tristar first anounced the early war Pz IV and I remember not too long ago we thought DML was quiting the model kit game in favor of playing with dolls. At least DML is back in the game making kits, and now-a-days super uber kits.
Perhaps one day you will see a Staghound being produced by Evergreen and Miliput :P
