Hallo,
whiteblanking is an important feature on digital cameras. you should get one with a manual white blanking funktion.
and...rather spend a few bucks more than save a few. today the digicams made an evolutionary step forward, so get a state of the art compact camera with a lot of pixels. actual models are a lot faster than the cheaper ones.
