It all makes sense, but then it doesn't....
Personally, I'm just happy with 1/35th, as I'm sure most people are...I can imagine that Tamiya will try to make their future releases more uniform (I.E. 1/48th scale)...which really isn't bad at all... Everyones happy when you think about it...DML still gets to make their awesome 1/35th stuff and Tamiya can move to green pastures, essentially getting to make a larger scale of 1/72 because that really has many, I guess you would say, areas of modeling that can be delved into...like figures, tanks, airplanes, ect...We can all get a good selection of models to meet our budgets, our preferences in details, or just what you like to do....
thats my 2 cents...
