I was just saying that is what Mr. Tamiya wrote in his book about it. He didn't mention about simplifying from metric, if that was the case, I would think we would have ended up with 1/30th (which is what those early Russian kits were) or maybe 1/25th - which they came out with later.
1/32nd is not a simplification, it is an Architectural scale, 3/8"=1'-0". |
