Adam,

I forgot to mention that Tamiya makes a very decent Merkava 1. For other
types of Merkava's the way to go is Academy although an update set will
improve some major flaws. The Merkava 3 from Academy is the worst bevause it
is based on the Merkava 3 prototype so updating is almost mandatory. Update
sets are available in PE or resin. If you really like to make things look
cool than I recommend Fruilmodellism Merkava tracks. I just bought a set
Merkava 1,2 type tracks (ATL-63) and they look really great. Price is about
$30,-
