There is a good comparison review of T-55 kits on the Tank Guy website

http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~TANK-GUY/KIT-REVIEW06.html

The consensus on the SKIF kit seems to be that although it has a full
interior and photo-etch it is very toylike and inaccurate. Steve Zaloga shot
the kit down in flames in a construction review for Boresight magazine.

My advice : don't bother with the SKIF kit, get an old Esci one cheap or one
of the Trumpeter kits. Trumpeter may actually be the best compromise but the
hull is too high by 4mm.

We're all still waiting for the "ultimate" T-55 kit !

Cheers,

Christophe
