Kurt,

There are a couple photos of the BMD system in Steve Zaloga's
Russian/Soviet Armour and Artillery design practises and even better and
more numerous photos (in colour) in Concord's Airborne Elite (1)
Russia's Air Assault Force (3007, ISBN 962-361-720-8).

Have you got the SKIF BMD-1P kit yet? I've been inspecting mine, quite
good generally but the turret is stepped and I'm thinking of replacing
it with a BMP-1 turret. Other details will need extra works but overall
it looks like a sound kit.
