The Tamiya kit is a series 2 Land Rover, for more recent versions (IFOR,
SFOR) you're looking at series 3/Defender Land rovers, which means buying
the Accurate Armour resin kit. Having said that, I could be wrong since
fairly antiquated Land Rovers were still soldiering to the early 90's, but,
thanks to the high degree of interchangable parts between Land Rovers of
different eras most would not be in their original form. Most important from
a modelling point of view would be the switching of damaged wings, grills
and body panels from series 2 for series 3 replacements.
