Hi KCA,

I don't agree with 2.

A/ Have you ever climbed on top of a modern tank? B/ Have you seen those surfaces on the model with a coat of paint
applied? C/ if you use the Tamiya turret how are you going to match the anti-slip surface of the hull with the
Tamiya turret or are you such a big fan of Tamiya that you'll use a Tamiya kit with just a few Italeri parts?

I don't agree with 3. either.

I think the detail is much sharper than on previous Italeri kits, the plastic is "soapy in colour" so once painted
detail will look infinitely better. OK the 0.50 MG could be better but otherwise there is a lot of excellent fine
detail everywhere, have you noticed the underside of the turret?

About 1. I'm open to your point but on what exactly are you basing your conclusion? Line drawings (how reliable are
them?)? Comparison with other kits? Comparison with photographs? Please be more specific :-)

Overall I think the Italeri M1A2 is an excellent kit, it has some sinkholes and sink marks and is more a builder's
kit than a kit that builds itself like (Tamiya kits typically are).

Cheers,
Christophe
