| hi all , i am tryinmg to find details of jeeps converted to aircraft tugs for deck duties on us aircraft carries korean war , details so far , engine removed , converted to 24 volts , slave battery boxes fitted either side of rear passenger area. a frame fitted at front , the rear wheels moved to centre line and hence its name 3 wheeled jeep , as from the side that is what it looks like , all i need is clear photos of the rear to show slave boxes and rear wheel arrangement anyone have them or know if they exhist . 500 were converted for us aboard and dock yard duties moving aircraft around cheers ian |
