In addition to what the others have said, Verlinden's web site listed a T-62 super
detail set to be released sometime this year. While I don't expect it to fix the
major proportional problems, it will probably make some of the more poorly molded
details on the old Tamiya kit look much more realistic. Also, if it is anything like
the old T-55 update set, you'll probably get a bunch a parts to do some later
versions, particularly those in Mideast service. Take a look at Steve Zaloga's book
on the T-54/T-55/T-62 published by Concord. There are some excellent photographs to
help you with all the little details and the text helps put all the variants in
perspective.
