Olaf,
I called up a friend in France this evening.
He has a French book on Dodge military vehicles.
He says there is a photo of a French Air Force one in the late fifties
with whitewall tyres, Air Force registration and French flag (pennant?)
next to the windscreen.
Also various photos of Dodge Command cars at the 14th of July parades
carrying various presidents, as late as the mid-seventies. These had
also whitewall tyres and registration plates are visible.
Let me know if you want scans of these vehicles, I think I can get those
scans from friends in Paris.
Cheers,
Christophe |
