| Subject: | Another M48A3 headlight question | |
| Date: | Jan 18, 2004 |
| From: | Randall Smith | |
All,
We've established that the type of headlights a Vietnam-era M48A3 would have has been established as the old-style M46/M47 system, as opposed to the newer M60 single post system. Now my question is, does anyone have a clear shot of this headlight system that shows how the electrical conduit was run? In the single post (mod A2) lighting system, the electric was supplied through the support post. How was this done with the older (mod A1) version of the lighting system?
Many thanks for your help,
Randy |
