Hi Christophe,
no I never hard of the IDF using any M47. They used M48 against the M47 (Jordan) with success and there'd be no reason to use the older tank. Also b4 receiving M48's via the german inoffical supply they were blackmarked by the US for armor. Actually I don't think they ever got a single M47 from.
What IMI offered was a conversion, but that wasn't a real success either ...
