Just a bit of M60A1 triva, we cleaned the bore evacuator after all live fire exercises, and/or 4 times annually during Q-Servicing. One was expected to know, at least as a potential guard mount question, that the bore evacuator is technically a pressurized eccentric scavenger with 6 orifices inclined at a 30 degree angle towards the muzzle. Dont hold me to the numbers or the degrees, 1980 was the last time I punched a gun tube on an M60A1.
Tanks for the memories
Bob
