Hi Christophe,

You will find that the vehicle was painted in Germany well before it was shipped over. Therefore it would still require its German civil markings. As would the inclusion of red fire extinguishers. Military or not all vehicles have to comply with civil law. It was always one of those things, even when heavy armour doesn't really venture onto 'public highways'. If a vehicle crosses or uses a civil road then it has to comply with the law.
