On p. 64 of Hunnicutt's "Patton" he says, "A small number also were shipped to Korea for battle testing, although by this time enemy armor had virtually disappeared and tank operations consisted primarily of infantry support. Some of these vehicles were equipped with 18-inch searchlights."
