| Subject: | Firefly identification help needed | |

I could use some help identifying the Firefly on the right in this photo. I pulled the photo from the Sherman Register website where it's identified as being taken in Lebanon sometime after WW2.
I've heard others call it a Firefly IC (i.e based off the M4 hull) but there's some really odd elements to it.
First, the hoods apprear to be welded. But that may be the armored plates. Based on the photo, I'd guess the latter since the plates seems to extend down toward the co-driver's MG.
Second, it seems that there is not a welded cover plate over the co-driver's MG. I thought all Firefly's had this plate since there was no co-driver or MG.
Third, it appears that this tank has the late 'sharp' transmission cover which would not normally been seen on an early hull M4 or M4A2.
So I'm lost. Is this a post war mix and match Firefly? If so, what hull M4 or M4A2?
Any help would be appreciated.
And any more info on Lebanon's use of Firefly's (type, colors and markings, etc) would also be most appreciated.
Thanks.
