Well..
For Polish, GDR, and other Warsaw pact forces, primarily T-55 with some T-72G/M versions.
For USSR, T-72 and T-80 tanks were the backbone of the Soviet forces forward deployed...numbers/ratio's vary depending on the year in the 1980's you are discussing. T-64 was not forward deployed, but still in service as the backbone of the "In Soviet Union" regiments. T-55/-62 were only in service as engineering/Misc vehicles, all others were in long term storage. |
