 Subject:  BTU-55 Dozer Blade - photos?List thread.

 Date:  Jan 24, 2007
 From:  Daniel LeClair
I'm trying to kitbash a Trumpeter BTU-55 dozer blade (from their T-55 Model 1958) onto the much nicer Tamiya T-55 kit. The blade went together pretty nicely, but doesn't quite want to connect to the tank hull.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any real-life photos of the thing. Anyone know of any?

My problem is this...there are two connecting plates that hang down from the upper portion of the dozer blade that should connect to a couple pins on the lower portion of the hull front. I can't seem to make these connect, and at the same time having the main controlling piston (which attaches to the box on top of the hull) connect too. They don't seem to be long enough.

Are these two plates to lock the dozer blade in traveling position?

See photo. Hope I framed the question so you understand what I'm asking!.
