Dan,

I did the exact same conversion last year. You have to cut about 2/8 of an inch off the main bracket that goes along the bottom of everything where it connects to the tank. Everything will line up perfectly. Just cut a little at a time until it all lines up. I'm at work right now but I will try and send a pic when I get home. Have fun with it!
