I have been told that the STRV 122 is the closest variant to the Leopard 2E although there are some minor differences -that Idonīt know- apart from the obvious different barrel lenght and Galix system.

A perfect match for Spanish Army green is a 50/50 mix of Tamiya Nato Green and Gunze Middle Stone.

Echelon have a decal set for the Leopard 2A4s of the Brunete Armoured Division that I suppose can be very useful for such a project:
