Hi Tim,
As an ex-Leopard C1 commander I can tell you that in 1989 there were both the monotone and the three colour NATO Leopard C1s in Germany. That was still while the tanks were going through the rebuilds and both paint schemes could be seen. By 1989 there would have been more of the NATO cam paint schemes than monotone colours.
M113s would have been in both the three colour NATO cam and in the older Canadian three colour cam...most if not all M113s would have been upgraded to the M113A2 with the external fuel tanks. There were no monotone Canadian M113s in Germany. |
