Dear Chris
Thanks very much for your input. A work mate of mine was a Chieftain driver with 2RTR and seemed to think on the same lines as yourself.
I was just puzzled as the Osprey book on modelling the Challenger shows the lid up and filled with stowage on the 1/72 tank. The modeller has used the CMK detailing sets which i think has used artistic licence?
Not that it matters to much because my 1/35 scale tank the lid will be firmly down. But you know about curiosity and cats one day i might find a photo and lift the lid.
Thanks very much
Steve
