Wait and see...the priority is sending the crews to Afghanistan in the German Leopard 2A6Ms first.
There is no one spare to be dealing with the Dutch tanks right now...there will likely be many modifications and upgrades done on them before arrival in Canada.
Right now there is only one tank Squadron trained on the Leopard 2A6M so no one else in Canada can even use them. The next Squadron to go over after 'C' Squadron will be 'B' Squadron again in March 2008(they just got back in March 2007) and they will be training on the Leopard 2A6M in Germany probably around late 2007 or early 2008. |
