This is the "next" phase in armour protection technology. It consists of two plates of armour separated by a nonconductor, the outer plate carries and enormous electric charge. When an HEAT projectile strikes the outer plate a circuit is created between the plates by the projectile and the electric charge is discharged disrupting the projectile!
