Just to tidy up this topic, I recently had the luck to look at a TT-C-595 (1950) of which color 1415 is referred to as USMC Green. This color is very similar (a touch lighter) than BS 381C:1996 224 Deep Bronze Green. So for the Korean War crowd, this is most likely the color used in that war, unless Amendment 1 (1951) to TT-C-595 changed USMC Green to yet another color.

BTW, I've always said the color video footage from USMC Korean War equipment looked like a bronze green. Always said that.
